Finally it’s here 🙂 We have put our interview with Lasgo online !

How did they meet eachother, which DJs do they like, which performances were the best and many more questions were asked… and we’ve got the answers !

Check out the whole Lasgo interview !

Lasgo is still in the UK TOP10 with their song Something. They are on the 6th place (3rd week UK TOP10). In Scotland, they dropped from the 3rd place to the 7th place.

Rigor Mortis has been signed to different countries already. An overview:

  • Germany / Austria / Switzerland (Polydor/Zeitgeist)
  • Israel (Helicon Records)
  • Spain (Vale Music)
  • Estonia (Estonian Artist Records)
  • The Netherlands (CNR Music)

Flesh & Bones – Rigor Mortis was released 3 weeks ago (21/02/2002) on CD Single and it turns out to be a big hit! It’s currently @ No. 14 in the Belgian Ultratop single chart!

The videoclip for Rigor Mortis was made with the help from Het instituut voor Verkeersveiligheid (Insitute for driversafety) and features Sky and Thomas who are both killed in a car crash. The clip must make people aware of the fact that they always have to be focused when they’re driving! Sky and thomas weren’t…that’s why they’re dead…You can also post your condolences as a joke on the following website: www.skyandthomas.com.

The Ultratop dance charts have been real kind to Flesh & Bones: 3 weeks No. 1 and now after 10 weeks still @ No. 10.

International wise Flesh & Bones are also starting to get noticed by a lot of big companies! Rigor Mortis is featured on Judge Jules’ new compilation and set to be licenced to a lot of foreign countries.

Flesh & Bones are Regi Pinxten (Milk Inc.), Wout van Dessel (Dj Wout / Sylver) and Birgit (18 year old talented singer)

Last Monday March 4th, Ministry Of Sound released Minimalistix Close Cover in the UK and they expected to do more than well in the charts…Because of the massive hype around the ‘piano track’ they expected a high entry in the UK charts!

The expected happened: Minimalistix entered @ No. 12 in the official UK Single Chart and the record company hopes it’ll climb some more chart-spots in the UK over the next weeks!

In the UK Dance Charts (vinyl sales) it entered @ No. 4 which is obviously a great result!

A Summary of the chart entries: UK National single Chart @ No.12, UK Dance Chart @ No. 4, UK Club Chart @ No. 1, UK Cool Cut Chart @ No. 1 and UK Buzz Chart @ No. 2

Ministry Of Sound also decided to release the next single from Minimalistix for the UK!!

Minimalistix is going global in the next coming weeks with scheduled releases for Close Cover in Australia, Spain, Italy, South Africa, South America, Holland, Germany, USA, Scandinavia, Greece, …

The second single by Orion Too is Hope and Wait, which is available in stores now. The title perhaps refers to what the artists are doing now: waiting and hoping that this second single will outdo Orion Too’s excellent first single, You and Me. So does it? Just read our Hope and Wait review

Don’t forget, you can already check out the video for ‘Hope and Wait’ on the Orion Too website (www.oriontoo.be).

Lasgo is again #3 in the official Scottish charts this week. Also, for the 3rd week running they are number one on the Beat 106 dance chart (Beat 106 is Scotlands biggest dance radio station). On Saturday evening Lasgo did a gig at Club Metropolis in Ayrshire (Scotland), a small seaside town of saltcoats and they got a wild reception! Lasgo loved it, they were saying it was one of their best gigs ever, plus it was their first scottish gig which made it special.

In the UK chart, Lasgo lost one place and they are now at #5.

Martine Theeuwen aka Marsha X, who did the vocals and wrote the lyrics for Ian Van Dahl‘s Castles in the sky has teamed up with the US producers from LD30.

Their first creation Distant Moments is now available on vinyl and you can buy it here. Three mixes are on the vinyl: Original mix, Mike Rizzo’s dub and “Global” dub.

Marsha had also been asked to do a vocal remix of Tales of DJ Philip – All night long (Vocal 2002 Mix). Tales of DJ Philip is a cooperation between Philip Meers and Regi Penxten. (Milk Inc.). This remix is not yet available on cd single or vinyl but you can already find it on the latest C-Dance compilation album called Phuture Classicz Sexter. (Buy here !)
