Dancevibes news

As you have seen, it has been quiet on the site because Wim has become a father ( congratulations Wim ) and I was busy with my studies. however we will start posting news again this weekend !

It's been a long time coming, but early November the new single by Zippora called What about our future was released. The single was produced by Laurent Wery, Carlos Meire and Serge Ramaekers. Let's see if it can match her previous hits (Lotus Eater, See The Sun). The single is available with a bunch of remixes (Extended, Niels Van Zandt remix, Merayah's remix cut, Robert Abigail's Classic remix). Tells us what you think !

I don't know what will happen to us when we are over 60 but edition 61 of Belgium’s longest running club compilation Serious Beats is still going strong with yet another killer tracklist.
Once again, Serious Beats brings you a 3CD box with no less than 33 upfront commercial club tunes, all in their uncut, full-length glory. Serious Beats 61 kicks off with the Tiesto remix of the Editors number 1 track Papillon and continues with Chuckie’s hyped track Let The Bass Kick In Miami Bitch. But it doesn't end there with other exclusive tracks such as John Dahlback’s Autumn, David Guetta’s floorfiller GRRRR and Valodja by Steve Angello. But there is much more… how about Moby remixers Prok & Fitch with their uplifting new release Naga, the mindblowing Hardwell remix of Bob Sinclar’s Peace Song and the catchy gimmick song Guten Morgen Sonnenschein by Tobias Schulz. Go check it out!

Be ready for the biggest club compilation of 2009!

Who would have expected this? Sylver's new song is a (partial) remake of Music (John Miles). What do you think about this? Not our cup of tea ....

All 35,000 tickets for I love techno have been sold, so the organization emphasises that you shouldn't come to the venue if you don't have a ticket ... We've got our tickets, we hope you have yours too (let us know what acts you are looking forward to see!).

Kate launched her new album French Connection yesterday. It contains only French songs, both covers and own material.  You will find old singles like  Voyage Voyage, Désenchantée en Libertine, Ella Elle l’a and Babacar on the album but also new covers like Les Divas Du Dancing, Sage Comme Une Image, Toute Première Fois and a stunning version of Évidemment. Kate also received awards for her outstanding performance in the charts throughout the years.

It is getting a real tradition: Milk Inc. took home their 15th and 16th TMF award this weekend. That puts them well ahead of the pack. Regi and Linda also gave an energetic performance on the show.

Switch is the leading radio show for electronic music on Studio Brussel and on Saturday the 17th of October they will present The Greatest Switch 2009, an all time top 100 of electronic music. But you can now already get your own copy of the Greatest Switch 3CD.  It contains a vast amount of essential tracks from the last few decades including: Blue Monday (New Order), Rhythm Is A Dancer (SNAP), Sunglasses At Night (Tiga and Zyntherius), Ibiza (Amnesia), Kernkraft 400 (Zombie Nation),  The Chase (Giorgio Moroder) and of course also our own Technotronic with Pump up the Jam.  Check it out and get a history lesson you will definitely like!

When Milk Inc. finish their Blackout concerts, they will have played for 100,000 fans. But they still can't get enough and that's why they have booked the sports palace in Antwerp again for at least 2 concerts in 2010.  You can already order the tickets for their performance on 24 or 25 September 2010.

Will AnnaGrace be releasing a new single called Love keeps calling soon? She performed the song on Lasgo's release party for Smile.
