Sylver, whats going on?

Postby Snaggy » Thu May 31, 2007 3:50 am

I keep reading different people's remarks everywhere online saying that Sylver is done. I remember hearing the news a couple of months back about a greatest hits cd going to be released, but I haven't heard anything else about that since.

as far as their career goes, I figured they were on hiatus since Silvy is pregnant and what not...but I didn't think they broke up necessarily...I mean, I haven't heard anything official regarding that...

can anyone confirm this?

Sylver breaking up...that would be a tragedy for me :(

As far as I know Sylver has not broken up. I will attempt to reach someone in management to see what the latest news is. They are touring right now though.

I don't know why Ian Van Dahl, DJ Sammy, Cascada is in your list.

DJ Sammy made a new song and will release a Mix compilation. You can hear the song on his official website. There is a lot of new infos on his myspace page http://www.myspace.com/djsammymyspace .

Ian Van Dahl will release a third album. The website is up-to-date. Ian Van Dahl is touring and will be in your country very soon.

Cascada will release his second album this year. The new single seems to be a cover of Jan Wayne - Because Of The Night. There are a lot of new remixes. Cascada is in tour and will be in your country very soon. There is a new video for the release of the next single in UK : A Neverending Dream http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ri2zVZPNdNU .

Jan Wayne did a cover too. He isn't the original artist.

Why is Jessy on the list? If you're folowing the dance bizz a little bit you'd know she's more in England than in Belgium now for making her album together with Micky Modelle. She had a top 10 single in august 2006, released "over you" in december and now the new "Show me heaven" is ready. The album will follow quickly, in England ...

I've heard somewhere she's also planning a new album just for release in Belgium but it has no release date, so that can take a few more months/years :D

okay, well her website is rarely ever updated, I see all these fan posts, but how accurate are those ever?

anyways, yes, I've read about "Show Me Heaven", never heard any official word on it though. and I know about the other songs she did with Micky Modelle.

Just because people post things on this forum claiming them to be news but have no official source...that doesn't mean that is what is actually going on with that artist.

This is pretty funny but I got a Sylver DVD yesterday featuring M'n'C feat. Silvy - Sweet Dreams video....

Not too bad. I'm going to try to rip it to upload to Youtube.

You're right but it's what they said on a french site. Maybe it's like Manian ft. Aila - Heaven. It will sounds more like the popular cover and not like the original version.
