Sylver - Greatest Hits

Silvy said to musicitems that her (Sylver's) plan for next couple of months include in releasing a greatest hits album...

If they release it, I wonder if they would ad new tracks, maybe some (rare) remixes and/or a dvd with all video's...

Yeah singers like Sylver must have a greatest hits album. wow, and yes i hope too that the greatest hits album have new and rare remixes and songs, videos, live acts...I really would like a Sylver-Greatest Hits Album.

I don't like that idea!! Because many times when a band make a "greatest hits" that means that the band is close to the end!!to Brake up!! And that is too shame!!too bad!! Because Sylver is the top of top... for me... They have so many things to give...and silvy and wout... so one "greatest hits" isn't necessary!!!! I realy like more one new album than one "greatest hits"....... most of their songs are great songs... but they have to brought more... and more... and more... AND MORE!!! There is no point to repeat some songs in one album "greatest hits"...

And another thing... they have too many great songs... that they do not fit in just one cd... maybe two... or three!! So the better for them to leave them <the songs...> in their regular albums!!!!

But an album with just remixes of their four albums songs it would be a good idea... but still that represend thet they stand-still... and that they aren't on foot!!!!! It would be great as a bonus on their new cd a cd with remixes!!!!!

I love Sylver!!!!! keep on great songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree with ''sylver_milk_inc__rules'', i don't find it so interestiing but maybe someone who missed all of Sylvers work so far will...
I don't know if it means that they are taking a break from it all but i sure hope not 'cos i'm nowhere near ready to let Sylver go, they have too much more to give

milk inc released a greatest hits album after 2 cd's;

after apocalyps cow & land of the livinf, they released double cream

also in 2005 they released th essential milk inc, another greayest hits album

they still release new songs & albums

Well Those double cream & essential is in my opinion NOT a greatest hits.

Double Cream was just a CD for those who don't know Milk Inc yet. The album Milk Inc which was released in England also featured tracks from the first 2 albums.

The essential Milk Inc is just a compilation from their recordcompany. EMI Music belgium has a very large collection with Essential CD's

That's why I think Milk Inc has NO official best of.

Now about Sylver...

A best of does not mean they will split. Backstreet Boys / Take That (at this moment) ok 2 Unlimited you are right. Ace of base not. etc. etc.

Let that best of be released as 2CD with some rare remixes or a dvd with all videos.

Ok double cream may just be a compliation of apocalypse cow & land of the living cuz all the tracks were the same, except that double cream had all the single mixes (like a greatest hits)...

the essentital milk inc had again all the single mixes of the songs they released from apocalypse coaw, land of the living & closer, like a greatest hit album...

but hey, we can argue about this till etenity, but i find double cream & the essential cd's equal to a greatest hits album...

Yes, that would be better if they released a new album than the best of, but maybe there'll be some new tracks on it as well.

It's not so difficult to predict which songs are going to be on the best of.
Probably: Turn the tide, Skin, Forgiven, Forever in love, In your eyes, The smile has left your eyes, Livin' my life, Why worry, Shallow water, Wild horses, Confused, Love is an angel, Take me back, Make it, Lay all your love on me, One night stand and Why.

my guess would be that there're gonna be all of the singles in the greatest hits compilation, and all of the videos and maybe some live performances or behind the scenes footage

I think a lot of times bands do greatest hits just for the hell of it. not before a break up... i mean E-type has had a greatest hits CD, Milk Inc has as well, Girls Aloud (UK Pop group), Groove coverage (as a US release)... Just a few good names here really

i know... but I Support that it would be better to make a new cd... and milk inc... had a "greatest hits" with 2 albums.... wow! What a great idea...! Like Evanescence... they make one album... ande then one live with the same songs!!! Mercy!!!!

Well yeah it's always nice to have a new album, but if they wanna make some money with a best of ... why not

... and maybe that gives them some time to work a little more on their new album (if there ever comes one, i know that's something for the far future, but still), because imo "Crossroads" wasn't their best and most creative album - it was good, i don't say i didn't like it, but just not their best work.

and well ... Wout saying that it was hard to make the latest Sylver album, that title "Crossroads" (crossroads in their musical carreer

?), the last song "The End"

... more and more i'm starting to think that the Best Of album could be the latest one. I know it's just guessing, and probably i guess wrong, but still ... you never know

I agree with you... the last song "the end" I think is a warning that "crossroads" it would be the last album...!!! too bad!! I don't agree with you tha "crossroads" wasn't their best work... In my opinion is better <even> than "chances"...!!!
