Milk Inc. is hot, Milk Inc. is sexy! Is that what the cover of "Forever" is trying to say? Notice the hint of Linda's underwear showing trough her shirt, while even Regi's shirt is a little open to show a hint of his torso, to attract the female (and that "gay dance music") audience maybe? Oh well...
Forever (Radio & Extended)
You don't have to worry about complete style changes or totally unexpected sounds, Milk Inc. is hotter than never in Belgium, and Regi, Filip and Linda deliver a very typical Milk Inc. song here, just what you would expect.
100% Milk Inc. right from the beginning; the first verse starts slowly and builds up to the chorus, i think we all know the concept... It's a little more uplifting and trancy (i have the feeling i have to watch my words here, because of the "true trance" fans here on the forum) than most of their singles, it's actually a Milk Inc track i would expect on an album, not as a single. "Forever" has a little more dreamy, balearic uplifting feeling - especially in the buildup to the latest chorus, where they added some crowd vocals taken from their very own Supersized concert. Good job! 10/10 for me.
Forever (Michael Beltran Remix)
Michael Beltran is a newcomer in the Belgian dance scene, and his first single "Getaway", an enjoyable but maybe not very original commercial house track got released on the ARS label (which is also the Milk Inc. music label), so yeah, this is basicly "just" a label artist remix. Commercial house artist -> commercial house mix, well i acutally think it's trying to have a little more Tocadisco-like club sound, but that doesn't really work, it's too weak for a club track. And as a commercial track... well, i don't really like the switchover between Linda's vocals and the house beat. Don't know what to think about this remix yet, but it's definately not the reason why i bought/you will buy this release. My guess... 6/10?
