MILK INC - FOREVER
Image

Forever - Okay 8/10.

Tonight - Average. 6/10. Why not a special remix to give the song more power?

Race - Way rad, very appealing 10/10

Waste of Time - A good start but it is going downfall due to the boring chorus. 6/10 (w/o the chorus: 9/10)

Summer Rain - I like Linda's accent on this one, she sounds very ValleyGirlish lol, the song itself is a mix of ATBish Balearic flavor and
Sylver melody (I wasn't looking for love musical line from One light stand is very familiar/obvious). A strong contender for the next single. 10/10

Sunrise - A bit overplayed but a decent effort 8/10

Maniac - I like the mood on this one...A decent cover 10/10 (Cascada should learn from Milk inc how to make a satisfying cover)

With You - Very IanVanDahlish (think Without you/Walking away from the 2nd IVD album). Me likeee 10/10

Guilty - A bit boring, it sounds as if it had been recorded for the US market only, don't like this style :( 3/10

Live Her Life - 1996 sound on this one (Interactive - Forever young syths + Alice Deejay song structure). We've heard it all before, but nonetheless, a very enjoyable track 10/10

Ouch Damn - I don't like this (so called-by-me ''American'') sound...It sounds like a weird house dub remix of a demo song performed by someone in the likes of Christina Aguilera or JayLo. 7/10

Invisible - I like this style. Milk should be doing more of this. Absolom production from late90ies revival. 10/10

Perfect Lie - Boring, but I guess this is Linda's favorite song off this album. Leann Rimes could cover it, in case she needs an album filler for her new record. 8/10  Remixes badly needed.

Album score 8.5/10 (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED [but just])

What's hot:
- Variety of styles
- Good old Milk inc sound still powerful
- Linda voice sweeter and stronger than ever
- Nice album cover

What's not:
- Too few tracks
- Released singles not given a special (album) treatement (remix)?
- Some songs sound recycled

I ordered Forever and I thought it was just the cd single. When the package arrived in the mail and I opened it I was surprised to find it was the new album! :o

I've listened to it a few times now, and it's still growing on me. I love Sunrise, Tonight, Forever and their cover of Maniac. The other songs will grow on me soon enough.

FWIW, it looks like Amazon will have Forever available to US customers on Aug. 5. I might just wait and do that rather than international shipments through ebay.

Thanks for the link! I have been waiting for Amazon to carry this.

Now, at $44? I was hoping for it to be a little cheaper here in the US but it will be about the same if I ordered it from proxis

I had a problem like that when I was trying to order stuff through Ministry Of Sound once. Sometimes if you have purchases that have not been taken out yet, the shop will not let you buy anything until things get cleared.

Okay so, mediadis.com is the cheapest place, right?

Grooves Inc is a German website that I have had some business with. It can be hit or miss and their stock is limited....Like I ordered a Regi single from there and canceled it saying not available from distributors...boo hisss...LOL

That being said I think it's pretty good for Sylver cause Sylver usually releases more in Germany...like the Best of Collection that is NOT on proxis...
