We don't know yet who the new Lasgo singer will be, but what we do know is what the first song of the new Lasgo will be; it's called "Out Of My Mind", and will be out the 20th of august (on download platforms).
Including: Radio Edit (house), Original Mix, Sebastian Dali Remix (house) and a Felix Project Remix (jump)

Personally, i think the new Lasgo singer sounds a lot like Evi The samples sound good, only thing i don't really like is that the style is similar to AnnaGrace's single, making Lasgo a simple AnnaGrace copy and vice versa, instead of a new creative Peter Luts project...

the song isnt bad but it doesnt sound like the original lasgo by a lnog shot. the vocal sounds a lil like evi but she has a stronger voice and the song aint bad but its not the same band anymore. dont know they should rename the band because this lasgo aint the lasgo of the past and that lasgo will never return. lasgo will never be on top again. . .thats how the cookie crumbles. the song aint bad but its not sumthing anyone can hear and say oh thats a great lasgo track. lasgo died when evi and dmc left. peter luts cant be the king of resurecting music. evi needs to return to music, annagrace at least is doing great. i like whats goin on there. good luck to that project. at least they didnt remake and say that was ivd. evi was the better singer outta the old lasgo tracks, although if lasgo (or whatever this band is) does release an album ill buy it. . . . noone beats the original lasgo, this is a copycat wannabe ressurection that cannot be. . . .

Lasgo died when Evi left. The nerve of Peter to be using that name still. Does anyone know if Evi left in good terms or is this another Jessy situation?

Personally, going around using the name Lasgo is a spit in the face for the fans.

But, I will say that I will like to hear the new Lasgo album when it comes out. Even though all of us miss Evi.

well as far as annagrace goes, its understandable that ivd was not the same. it started off with different producers and ended with none except peter. its good that annemie is doing her own solo thing. and if she wants to go in a different style thats fine her voice carries her fans. plus you make me feel aint a bad song. its catchy. as far as lasgo goes, its an impersonation. its not even like how milk inc did when they changed vocalists. thats like silvy leaving sylver and wout finding sum other girl to replace her and still call it sylver. 2/3rds of the band is gone in lasgos case and to replace them with a singer that people vote for is not bringing back an old band its making a new one and it is a spit in evi's face. i wouldnt be surprised if evi left on a bad note because she had her kids plus overall far away was a bit of a flop. the only single that did good was surrender. after that they had bad choices in singles that didnt chart well if at all. it had to be bad when even dmc leaves and says he doesnt wanna make music that sounds like lasgo. now peter is carrying the weight and he makes out of my mind that is an ok song but not anything like a lasgo song not even anything that resembles any song from far away. like i said, not a bad song but the lasgo moniker is over and he should call the band sumthing else. like with annagrace.

Will any of you guys buy the new Lasgo album with this new singer on board?

I see that most of you, including myself, do not like the idea that Lasgo is continuing without Evi. Perhaps the fans can show their aggravation and not buy the album.

I'll buy the Lasgo album - will there be a Lasgo album anyway? I'll buy the single, let's say. The song itself sounds nice, that's what counts for me, music is not like politics in my opinion - i like it, i buy it. Simple.

I think this project is just a last attempt to suck out all possible money out of the "Lasgo" brand name, and with such an attitude i think that new Lasgo period won't last very long and won't be very succesful either. So well... i'll support them as long as possible, and as long as i like their songs.

you know what, honestly despite the fact that this isnt the real lasgo, i would still by the cd just for music's sake. i mean it's still gonna be a sumwhat decent dance cd we can hope and its never a bad thing to add to your collection. now, do i think it will ever live up to the original lasgo's glory days? not even by a long shot. nor do i think they are going to last. ill be surprised if the group even makes a full lp but i guess that depends on how well recieved the single is. i think its not a baaaaaad single, but it doesnt compare to any of the other singles that lasgo have created. . . .well at least its waaaay better then WHOS THAT GIRL right? hahahaha. . . . .
