Belgian radio stations that play vocal trance

Postby xprotocol » Thu Mar 06, 2008 3:26 am

I like to listen to Internet radio at work sometimes but I've yet to find a station that plays a good selection of vocal trance. I've actually tried a few Belgian stations but I've never heard anything like Milk Inc, Sylver, etc being played. Any suggestions?

The Belgian Dance / Trance period was 2000 - 2005, after 2005 it went more discosounded / elecktrosound. Just like the last singles of Lasgo & Kate Ryan. The only dance-act which is still very populair with their Trance-sound is Milk Inc. Sylver is unknown at the moment, Kate Ryan went more pop-dance.

Wow, I guess I didn't realize the Belgian Dance scene was dying. Still though I haven't heard much of anything electronic on the couple stations I have listened to a bit (MixFM and 2BFM).

DI.FM's vocal trance channel in my opinion is only mediocre. They often play really long sessions by the same artists and sometimes they play DJ's whose stuff you can download for free off their website (Dj Doboy for example). Then they advertise their premium service, not sure why I would want to pay for something I can get for free and still be legit  . But thanks for the suggestion though. I guess in the end I just need to keep coming back here to find out what I need to add to my collection  .

well...suit yourself but i don't think you really gave it a chance, there's a schedule of all sets etc.
and why would you care if it's free or not? if you like the music...who cares

this is 24/7 vocal trance and of course you can't like all of it...

also, what's wrong with a 2min advertisement in like 2 hours, on tv you have 2 hours of advertisement and 2min of actual watching

I just started today and I have been listening to it for a few hours and yes, I do like it. Lots of cool tunes that I have never heard before on their "Vocal Trance" channel. They may be old tunes but, cool tunes indeed

The ads are not too long. I will explore more of the station during the next few days. Thanks for the link up  8)

The Screamer player (http://www.screamer-radio.com/) has a very large selection of Internet stations if you're looking for something to browse through.
