Annemie (Ian Van Dahl) goes solo !!!

Postby Psy D-Groover » Wed Jul 04, 2007 7:11 pm

Annemie Coenen, the singer of Ian Van Dahl is releasing a solo album, produced by Peter Luts.
In fact it's gonna be Ian Van Dahl with just Annemie then...
Not much of a change IMO cuz Annemie did all the gigs without the producers (Peter, David, Erik or Christophe)

Really lookin' 4ward to this release :)

So it will just "Annemie Coenen" instead of "Ian Van Dahl"? IVD is over??? Well, it's ok... ! I'll take it as a good new

I kind of thought that might end up happening...no big deal though, as long as shes still around, she was basically the group anyways...always loved Annemie, can't wait for her next album!

Good news. If they change the name, maybe it's because it will sound differently. I hope it will not sound like Klash.

Thats dissapointing do you know why they are doing that ? so they can make a crappy electro album without killing the IVD name - they are done!

Who knows, this could be a bad thing or very good one. Annemie was always the one writing the lyrics but with the melody's I don't know who will produce them. Let's hope for the best and see what she will come out with. I'd rather this than see her just quit the music business.

Good thing if Ian van Dahl at last is ended. :) One big hit and a lot of follow-ups isnt enough. Ian van Dahl will be remembered as one of the dirtiest chapters of Vocal Trance. Sorry it took such a long time. I now hope Lasgo can come back and swep the charts again. Lasgo was really Something!

Or maybe she will continue the Ian Van Dahl Project but by her own or she´s gonna take the IVD name for her.
That would be great, she could change to ARS Entertainment too. :D

When i read that new i understood that now just Annemie and Peter are in the project, and a new album obviusly would be like a solo of Annemie.

i hope this really comes out - i liked the early days of ian van dahl and their second album was stunning - but i have lost hope in them - if anything it will be an electro album i guess - i don't understand how one can just change their styles like that - i guess they do what sells :(
Loving Lasgo + Ian Van Dahl - I can't wait to see them live.

hey silver - me too i really miss my fav artists they just vanished - i hope sylver doesn't part - i think they are awesome - long goes to the days that i love - do you remember the lost and found launch party of ian van dahl and lasgo touring, i really miss those days.
What happened to peter luts, he used to produce so much, and now his site is rarely updated, i find myself looking at 80s electronic ambient stuff to keep me going - i hate electro sounds - i really hope the new annemie single sees the light of day - i will leave a message on his webpage - hope he reads the comments.

Well at least we still have kate ryan - he latest voyage voyage was awesome - also you should check out sandra from the 80s she has a new album out with the song the art of love which is amazing.

best wishes,

Panda.
