SO IT'S OFFICIAL THAT IAN VAN DAHL IS DONE AND OVER WITH. I READ THIS ON WIKIPEDIA.ORG. I KNOW THAT ITS NOT RELIABLE BUT I GUESS THAT AT LEAST ITS A LIL SUMTHING THAT COUNTS AS NEWS AND IT SEEMS LIKE IT COULD BE TRUE. . . . SO SAD, BUT HOPEFULLY THE LEGACY WILL CONITNUE WITH ANNEMIE!!

Annagrace
In January 2008 it became a fact that the Ian van Dahl chapter has been closed and that Annemie is pursuing a solocareer as Annagrace. The first single is set to be released in april 2008.

I'm so happy that Annemie is still going to be around...but what is up with that name? Annagrace? oh well, still, I'm just so happy she's not over with!

without a doubt im sure that they had to change the name ian van dahl because since lost & found was a collaboration of both the lasgo producers and original ivd producers then the ivd name had to have been a problem since the original producers are no longer even involved in the project since supposedly peter luts is the main producer and not even dmc of lasgo is a part of it, so legally it would not be the same group. thats like i dont know, wout taking over regi's position in milk an inc and still calling it milk inc. so i think maybe thats why ivd is no longer their name. annagrace has a lil bit of annemie in it, the ANN. . . .thats about it, maybe GRACE because sum company is graceful enough to let them keep going under a new moniker. i do wonder though if they are gonna have just a girl and movin on on the cd because they are probably copyrighted under ian van dahl. unless they do something like what cascada did and how they redid the 2 siria singles to release them as cascada songs. technically they are cascada's songs just they were pre-cascada created. i look forward to hearing what the album will sound like, if it is supposedly finished being made then hopefully we will get a release of the single and the album soon. hope it still sounds like ivd and not plain electro house shit. no offense to lasgo's far away album. . . .

i hope this isn't a vapourware act like deedee that never produced the album. It is so sad to see what is happening to dance. What still i don't understand is why peter luts and dave mcullen would just not be interested in ian van dahl or lasgo anymore - it is hardly like they are doing anything better and i don't see the sudden move in electro - it is just wierd. Maybe there was a disagreement? It is just wierd,

agreed 100%!

the thing that gets me is how they suddenly changed their production style, which no one seems to enjoy. When they were still interested in trance, the production was excellent and so many people I know literally raved over how good these songs were. No one seems to like the electro stuff, yet they're somehow trying to convince us what they have been doing since early 2005 is better somehow... SO, where is the fanbase at? 'cause I haven't seen the proof yet.

I'm with you!
I spoke to Peter once , back in 2006, and he made quite clear that "producers must go with the flow" , and electro is only on top 'cause that's what the public requests nowadays.
Perhaps the recorder companies may think that, but I don't see true trance/commercial trance fans who suddenly became electro-house lovers.
They attracted a different crowd , unfortunately that made us feel neglected.

JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW, SUPPOSEDLY IT IS TRUE THAT ANNAGRACE IS STILL GOING TO BE THE NAME OF ANNEMIE'S SOLO ENDEAVOR AND ACCORDING TO WIKIPEDIA(NOT THE MOST RELIABLE SOURCE I KNOW) SHE WILL BE RELEASING A SINGLE SOON CALLED "YOU MAKE ME FEEL SO REAL"

There's mention on Francesco Diaz's myspace page that there will be a remix for "You Make Me Feal So Real" coming out. We need to hear some new material soon. It will be almost a year in June since we have heard anything. Let's hope it will be a slammin' summer tune. Should be released by the end of this month.
