Mike DeVellis (Pockit Recordings) is an artist from Brooklyn, who earned a degree in Music from Tufts, with a minor in poppin’ and lockin’. ‘Post Boogie’ was one of his first solo productions back in 2003, where he played all keys, horns, and drums. Since then his funky breaks and downtempo tracks have appeared on numerous labels including OM Records, Citrona, StraightUp, and multiple releases on Blunted Funk.

Lots of great remixes on this project, with some slick funky breaks by b-boys Quincy Jointz. Jayl Funk, and PulpFusion. Moody Eva bends things a bit darker and twisted on her remix, while Sneak-E Pete and Mike team up for a late-night electro breaks affair. Brooklyn’s Scottie B drops things down with a pimpin 118bpm ride, while Mike provides a killer revamped 2009 mix.
