Biography

Dj Philip was born as Philip Meers at 13/06/1973 at Bilzen.

Dj Philip as a Dj

In 1994, he started as a resident dj at club Illusion at Lier. Furthermore, he’s also resident dj at Shaft. He has been a guest dj in almost every trance club in Belgium, but also in The Netherlands, Colombia, South-Africa, Spain, Italy and Germany.

His style is mostly Trance and Club.

Dj Philip as a producer

His records are all club-classics, and he’s done several remixes for substantial names in the industry. Sometimes even crossing over to the commercial dance-circuit with the likes of Bellisima and Inside of me.

His latest releases are Tales of Dj PHILIP feat Marsha – Moments (2002), Lizz’ Parker – Foolish in love (2002) and Dj Philip feat. Lizz’ parker – Let The Music guide you (2003)

Lizz’ Parkers real name is Liesbeth van den Plas and you should really check out her unplugged mix of the latest single Let the music guide you! Offcourse the Radio edit, Club mix, Original mix and Jessy remix are also very good!

His hobby is music and he gets his inspiration from the people in Illusion. His favourite records is ‘Energy 52 – Caf Del Mar’. His Favourite International Producers are Sascha, Paul van Dyk and Sven V th. His plans for the future are to keep on producing music and hopefully scoring a big hit someday.

He’s also labelmanager for Revelation records @ AGM, which he runs together with Dj Jan.
